Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 17, 2026
Ainomic LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Assemlytic mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
- Account information — If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the identity provider. Guest users do not provide any personal information.
- User profile — You may optionally set an alias name and avatar within the App. These are stored locally on your device and on our servers if you publish to the Community Hub.
- Product URLs — URLs you submit for analysis are sent to our servers to perform the analysis.
- Feedback — If you submit feedback on an analysis, we receive the product URL and your rating.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — Device model, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for analytics and ad delivery.
- Usage data — Features used, analysis requests made, and subscription tier.
- Advertising data — If you consent to personalized ads, Google AdMob may collect an advertising identifier. See Section 5 for details.
c) Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not access your clipboard without your knowledge. Clipboard is only read when the App is in the foreground, and only to detect product URLs. No clipboard data is transmitted to our servers.
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not collect contacts, photos, or files from your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
| Purpose | Data Used |
|---|---|
| Perform product analysis | Product URL, user tier |
| Display analysis history | Analysis results (stored locally on device) |
| Community Hub | Alias, avatar, published analyses |
| Manage subscriptions | Purchase tokens, user ID |
| Serve rewarded ads (free tier) | Advertising ID (with consent) |
| Improve analysis quality | Aggregated feedback ratings |
| Affiliate program | Anonymized click tracking via Amazon Associates tag |
3. Data Storage and Retention
- Local storage — Analysis history (up to 100 items), subscription state, and user preferences are stored on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes this data.
- Server storage — Analysis results are cached on our servers for up to 7 days to speed up repeated queries. Community Hub posts are retained until you delete them or your account.
- Authentication tokens — Stored securely on your device using platform-native secure storage.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
| Service | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Google LLC | Rewarded video ads for free-tier users |
| Google Sign-In | Google LLC | Authentication |
| Apple Sign-In | Apple Inc. | Authentication |
| Google Play Billing | Google LLC | In-app purchases (Android) |
| Apple StoreKit | Apple Inc. | In-app purchases (iOS) |
| Amazon Associates | Amazon.com, Inc. | Affiliate link tagging |
5. Advertising
Free-tier users are shown rewarded video ads powered by Google AdMob. Before any ad is served, you are presented with a consent dialog. You may decline ads, though this will require a subscription to continue using the App beyond the free tier.
If you consent, Google AdMob may collect:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- Device and network information
- Approximate location (IP-based, not GPS)
You can reset or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings at any time.
6. On-Device Web Scraping
To retrieve product information from retailer websites, the App uses an on-device WebView component. This operates locally on your device and loads publicly available product pages. The scraped product data (title, price, specifications, reviews) is sent to our analysis servers. No browsing history, cookies, or personal data from the WebView is collected or transmitted.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Community Hub — If you publish an analysis, your alias and avatar are visible to other users. Your email and real name are never displayed.
- Service providers — Our backend servers (hosted on Microsoft Azure) process analysis requests. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
9. Your Rights
- Access & deletion — You may delete your local analysis history at any time from the History screen. To request deletion of server-side data, contact us at the email below.
- Opt out of ads — Decline the ad consent prompt or subscribe to a paid tier.
- Account deletion — Guest accounts have no server-side data. For Google/Apple accounts, contact us to request full account deletion.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all network communications, secure token storage on-device, and server-side access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Effective Date” at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
